Ed and Mary Ochalek, co-owners of both funeral homes, have been licensed funeral directors for over thirty years.

Ed and Mary are very active in their church, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, in Milan. Ed is a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Ypsilanti Chamber of Commerce and the Washtenaw County Salvation Army Advisory Board. Mary is active in her church Parish Council, Altar Society and other local civic clubs.

Ed and Mary have been married for over thirty years. They have four children: Aaron, who graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and is an F-18 Super Hornet pilot; Kiel, who works as a consultant for IBM; Andrew, who is currently attending the Naval Academy and will become a Marine Corps pilot; and Michelle, who graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in communications. Ed's brother David is also a member of their family and lives with Ed and Mary.

Mary became a Licensed Funeral Director in 1979. She became co-owner of Ochalek-Stark Funeral Service in 1979 and co-owner of Stark Funeral Service in 1988.

Mary is happily married to Ed and has four children. She is active in many local organizations, including Civitan, Rotary, church, and the Ann Arbor Rowing Club.

Bradley was born and raised in Ypsilanti. He is a co-owner of Stark Funeral Service since 1983 and a co-owner of Ochalek-Stark Funeral Service in Milan since 1988.

He and his wife Mary reside in Ypsilanti and have two children, Jon, who currently works at the funeral home and Julie, who is a freshman at the University of Michigan.

He is a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, the Washtenaw 100 Club, the Ypsilanti Knights of Columbus Council #3230, the Ypsilanti Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #2250 and the Ypsilanti Moose Lodge #782. He enjoys golfing and boating on Portage Lake.

Marc is a licensed funeral director for the past 15 years and is very experienced in monument and marker sales. He has worked at Stark Funeral Service since 2000.

Marc and his wife Michelle live in Belleville with their two adorable little boys, Austin who is a very active eight-year-old and Jack, who is a happy and excitable five-year-old.

Marc enjoys weightlifting, golfing and spending time with his family. He is currently the only staff member who cheers for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish during football season.

Wendell lives in Brooklyn with his wife Margaret.

He has been in the funeral business for 33 years and previously worked for Vermuelen Funeral Home in Plymouth, MI. He is also a licensed pre-need counselor.

Wendell has two children, daughter Kimberly and son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Katy, who are expecting the first grandchild in the fall.

He enjoys golfing, boating, remodeling and spending time with his family.
