Cabana, Charles Dennis Chelsea, MI (formerly of Belleville)
Age 86, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2010. He was born June 7, 1923 in Bedford, Maine.
He served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. On April 5, 1944, he married Blanche Marie Johnson and she survives. Mr. Cabana was an engineer for the automotive industry, retiring in 1983. In addition to his loving wife of almost 66 years, survivors include: two sons, Charles (Debra) Cabana Jr. and William Cabana; two daughters, Rosemarie (Tom) Bush and Nancy Cabana; five grandsons; nine great grandchildren; three sisters, Pauline Hayes, Jean LaChance and Dottie Heater; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry, sister, Anita Benson and granddaughter, Melissa Maycroft. The funeral service will be 5:00 pm Tuesday, March 9 at Stark Funeral Service where the family will receive friends from 4 pm until time of service.
