Obituary For Laura M Woody

Age 45, died February 7, 2010 at home with her loving family by her side. She was born January 25, 1965 in Paris, France to Neil and Hilda (Kennedy) Stewart.
On July 11, 1987 she married Ronald Woody and he survives. Laura was a loving wife and mother that in the early years of her children's life chose to be a stay at-home mom. In 2003 she received her Bachelors degree from Eastern Michigan University, then worked at EMU as an Administrative Assistant to the Associate Provost and also worked as the office manager at Oakwood Church in Saline, where her husband Ron is the Associate Pastor.
In addition to her husband Ron, she is survived by her children Brandon, Sarah, Noah and Rachel all at home, her siblings David (Cristeta) Stewart of San Diego, CA, Kimberly (Rick) Scheideman of South America, Susan (David) Pionk of Raleigh, N. Carolina, her stepfather John (Arlene) Maher of Port Huron, step-brothers Michael (Debbie) Maher of Holly, and Dan (Cherie) Maher of Troy, step-sister Julie Maher of South Lyon and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Michael Stewart.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 11, 2010 from 2-8pm at Ochalek-Stark Funeral Home, Milan. Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday (in state 10am) at the Milan Free Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Marble Park Cemetery in Milan. Contributions may be made in Laura's memory, to a scholarsip fund for her children; envelopes are available at the funeral home.
