Age 52, died Thursday, October 22, 2009 at home. He was born March 12, 1957 in Ann Arbor to John and Jean (Schroen) Kwiatkowski.
He married Stephanie (Riopelle) Dean and together they had six children; Stacey, James II and Joshua Kwiatkowski, Scott Riopelle, Shaun Dean, Sarah (Christopher) Biggs and their son Tyler. He is also survived by his parents John and Jean, a sister Janet (Larry) Shock and a brother John "Jack" (Charlyn) Kwiatkowski. James was a loving father and caregiver. He was a member of the Milan Free Methodist Church and a devout Christian. Jim and Stephanie were loyal employees at GM- Hydromatic Powertrain Division of Ypsilanti for over 32 years.
Visitation will be held at Ochalek-Stark Funeral Home, Milan on Sunday from 4-8pm and on Monday from 2-8pm. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Tuesday at the Milan Free Methodist Church, 950 Arkona Rd., Milan with Pastor Jeffery Ford officiating. Entombment will follow at Michigan Memorial Park, Flat Rock
