Hunt, Hester Nicholasville, KY (formerly of Ypsilanti)
Age 76, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2010 peacefully in her sleep. She was born June 13, 1933 in Canada, KY, the daughter of Rush and Lennie (Smith) Reed.
On August 25, 1959, she married Denver Hunt in Ypsilanti and he survives. Hester worked for Ford Motor Company but was a homemaker most of her life. She was a member of Mt. Eden Christian Church, Nicholasville, KY. Survivors include: one daughter, Michelle Whitt of Ypsilanti; one granddaughter, Crystal Whitt of Ypsilanti; three sisters, Jeanette (James) Liles of AR, Ida Lorenze of Homer, MI and Jemima (Grant) Varney of KY; her loving caretaker and niece, Pat (Ron) Saros of KY; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and six brothers. Private services have taken place. Minister Dale Hunt of The Christian Church officiated.
