Gamboe, Shirley J. Augusta Township, MI
Age 79, was received into Heaven Saturday, February 6, 2010. She was born May 2, 1930 in Monroe, MI, the daughter of Walter and Dorothy (Grueschow) Miller.
On May 28, 1949, she married Harold C. Gamboe in Britton, MI and he survives. In addition to her loving husband of 60 years, survivors include: her son, Donald (Tracy) Gamboe and her daughter, Sharon (Dennis) Bailey, both of Ypsilanti.; and her sister, Ila May Randolph of Atkinson, NE. She was a loving grandma to five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. The funeral service will be 11:00 am Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Stark Funeral Service with Pastor Doug Burch of Evangelical Friends Church officiating. Burial will follow in Alban Cemetery. Contributions in her memory may be made to either St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Feed the Children. Envelopes are available at the funeral home where the family will receive friends 6-9 pm Monday.
